Since childhood, we've been hearing from our Mothers to finish the glass of milk given to us before bedtime. But why is it so? And which milk shall we drink? The Cow one or the Buffalo one? Let's find it out!

Starting with Buffalo milk, it's recommended for adults to drink. In comparison to Cow's Milk, it gives off more vitamins and minerals. It has less water and, hence, is thicker than Cow's milk. The richness of Bioactive Compounds in it may make your bones stronger, and improve heart health as it reduces high blood pressure, and provides antioxidants to fight radicals.



Cow milk is more easily digestible due to less presence of fat in it, and more water which makes it thinner. It contains less cholesterol, thus reducing high-level heart risks. This also makes your bones stronger and improves overall health.



Looking at their fat index, Buffalo Milk has higher levels of fats in comparison to Cow milk, making it suitable for making dairy products like khoya, panner etc, and Cow milk for making sweets.
